Second-Alarm Fire on Hudson Avenue in Rochester

ROCHESTER, NY - Shortly after 4:00 P.M., on Saturday, May 27th, Rochester firefighters responded to the area of Hudson Avenue and Merrimack Street for the report of a building on fire. Responding units found a fire in a large two-and-a-half story vacant structure, spreading to an exposure. A second-alarm was struck and the blaze was brought under control in about 45 minutes. There were no injuries reported. The Rochester F.D. Fire Investigation Unit was working to determine a cause.
