Hanover, NH - Earlier, the Hanover Fire Department responded to a fire alarm activation on the campus of Dartmouth College after reports of smoke on the 5th floor.

Upon arrival, crews confirmed the presence of smoke and requested a general alarm to bring additional resources to the scene. Firefighters quickly located the source—a fire inside an autoclave—and were able to extinguish it promptly.

Thanks to the swift actions of responding crews, the fire was contained with only minor damage.
