Multiple Agencies Responded to Lee Road Fire Incident

This article is a direct street report from our correspondent and has not been edited by the 1st Responder newsroom.

LINCOLN, Maine — May 2nd — After a general alarm assignment was sent out for a reported building fire with potential residents inside, Lincoln Fire Department personnel arrived early on Friday morning to a residential structure fire on Lee Road. When Engine 531 arrived early in the morning, they saw a single-story house with a significant fire. Firefighters started an inside fire attack after making sure everyone had left the building, and emergency medical personnel treated a burn victim who was later sent to Penobscot Valley Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

In addition to controlling the main body of fire and extending a second hoseline to prevent expansion into an adjoining garage, crews searched the house. The placement outside the hydrant district necessitated the request for additional tanker and labor support.
