WALTHAM, MA - On May 27th, Waltham 911 received multiple calls for a truck fire on I-95 south at Winter Street.

Engines 2 and 7 were dispatched. While responding, the 911 center said they could see heavy smoke in the sky. Deputy Chief Brock Roland requested Engine 8 to respond.

Upon arrival, they they found a tractor fully-involved. There was no trailer. It took firefighters about 30 minutes to put the fire out.

The DEP and Cambridge Water Commission were requested, as it was near their reservoir.
