Structure Fire at Daytona Beach Condominium

A fire that started on the balcony of a Daytona Beach condo was successfully extinguished by the Daytona Beach Fire Department. When Firefighters arrived, large flames were shooting from the balcony the 5-story building. They were able to get control of the fire and contain it to its original location without extension to the adjacent units. The two occupants were home at the time but were able to get out on their own and were not injured. Their two-story unit sustained smoke and water damage.
