Quick Knockdown at Residential Fire on N. 3rd Street
Pleasantville, NJ - The Pleasantville Fire Department responded to a reported structure fire on the 100 block of N. 3rd Street, where crews arrived to find occupants being safely evacuated with the assistance of Pleasantville Police.
Firefighters encountered moderate smoke conditions throughout the single-story residence and quickly located and extinguished a smoldering fire inside. Crews conducted a thorough primary search to ensure all occupants were accounted for.
One resident was transported by TriCare Medical Transportation for evaluation due to smoke inhalation. No other injuries were reported, and all personnel operated safely on scene.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
