Garage Fire Quickly Contained, Crews Prevent Spread to Home

Weston, CT - Weston firefighters responded to a reported structure fire on Blue Spruce Circle, where crews located a small exterior fire on a residential garage.
The fire was quickly extinguished, and firefighters conducted overhaul operations to ensure it had not extended into the home.
A total of 27 Weston firefighters operated on scene, supported by multiple apparatus and Weston Police. Mutual aid companies were cancelled while enroute.
The incident was brought under control without damage to the residence. The cause remains under investigation by the Fire Marshal’s Office.
