WALTHAM, MA - AT 11 PM May15, Waltham 911 center received a call for an accident at 273 Main Street. Engine 3, Rescue 1 and Medic 1 responded. Upon arrival they found that a male driver crashed through a fence, travelled 75’ and hit a jungle gym, and proceeded to hit a deck. Firefighters shored up the deck to prevent it from collapsing. Squad 5 was special called to bring additional shoring equipment The driver was taken to Newton Wellesley Hospital with minor injuries.
