LAWRENCE, MA - On May 20th, Lawrence firefighters made quick work at a fire at Merrimack Paper, which is a vacant mill at 9 South Canal St. This has been the scene of many fires over the years. Companies made entry via ground ladders and aerial apparatus and discovered a fire on floor 3 that was extending to floor 3. Companies had the fire knocked down in a short amount of time.
