CORTLAND, NY - The Cortlandville Fire Department responded to the intersection of Lighthouse Hill and Locust Avenue in the Town of Cortlandville for a reported vehicle fire on April 26th. When the Homer Police Department arrived first, they discovered a fully involved car fire. No injuries were reported as firefighters used suppression lines to put out the fire. The Cortland County Highway Department and the New York State Police also helped with roadway operations and traffic management.
