The initial alarm for a structure fire on Cabin Lane in Milford Township was sent out at around 4:33 a.m. on April 22.
Friendship Fire Company No. 1 officials reported that when Chief 2 arrived, there was a large fire coming from the front of a mobile home. After establishing a water shuttle dump site, Squad workers helped with fire assault operations while Engine 2 installed a 5-inch supply line along Cabin Lane. Additionally, Tanker 1 helped with water delivery operations.
There were two documented burn casualties. While one patient was taken by land ambulance, another was flown from Mifflintown Airport for additional care. Firefighters stayed on the site until around 7:03 a.m. The community was requested by the department to remember and pray for the injured people.
