Swift Water Rescue Response at Field Pond

Andover, MA - Andover Fire Rescue, in coordination with the Andover Police Department and Lawrence General Hospital Paramedics, responded to a water rescue incident at Field Pond.

First arriving units located a juvenile male in the water and immediately initiated emergency medical care on scene. The patient was then transported by EMS to Lawrence General Hospital for further treatment.

This remains a difficult incident for all involved. The department extends its thoughts to the individual and family affected, as well as to all responders who provided immediate and coordinated care during the emergency.
