Reported Explosion Summons South Hill Crews

SOUTH HILL, VA - Tones sounded on May 19th around 3:44 P.M. for an explosion on Brooke Avenue. Chief 7 arrived on scene and reported a light haze inside the structure. Engine 74 made entry and discovered a high reading of carbon monoxide. A leak was discovered coming from the oven. The structure was ventilated, and no injuries were reported. Units responding included Chief 7, Engine 74, Engine 73 and Truck 7.
