City of Passaic – May 8, 2026

The City of Passaic Fire Department held its annual memorial service at Fire Headquarters. Each year, the department pays tribute to its dearly departed members who served with the Passaic Fire Department, with special recognition given to the 12 heroes who died in the line of duty.

This year marked the 25th anniversary line-of-duty tribute honoring Lt. Alberto Tirado.

Family members of several fallen firefighters were also in attendance for the service.
