Albany, NY - Tri-Village Volunteer Fire Company, along with mutual aid departments and EMS, responded to a reported vehicle fire involving a UPS delivery truck.

Arriving crews found the truck fully involved in fire. The operator had safely exited prior to arrival and removed most of the remaining packages, also confirming there were no hazardous materials on board.

First-arriving units quickly deployed handlines and initiated an aggressive fire attack, bringing the blaze under control in a short time. Crews remained on scene to complete extinguishment and ensure the area was safe before clearing
