Vails Gate Fire Department held their annual Swearing in/Awards Dinner at Vails Gate Firehouse on Saturday May 16th. Steve Sager Chairman Fire Commissioners was master of ceremonies.
After welcoming everyone to the event-Pledge of Alliance was said. Officers for the coming year came forward and was sworn in by New Windsor Town Clerk
Patricia Clarino. After words President of the Department and New Windsor Supervisor Stephen Bedetti gave a short speech about the new building that the ribbon
was cut earlier in the day and thanked everyone who had a part in getting the firehouse built. After dinner was served the awards were given out by the Chief of the
Department John Rindt-Junior Firefighter of the Year-Cole Wilson,Firefighter of the year Sal Gigante,Sean McQuire Award John Baldwin. The fire commissioners gave
award to the Vails Gate Fire Company for outstanding work done on the building receiving the award was President Stephen Bedetti. After awards the dance floor was open
DJ Cole Wilson was spinning the tunes .
