Kent, RI - Lake Mishnock Fire/Rescue duty crews returned to the scene of a brush fire that occurred the previous day to reassess conditions. Upon arrival, responders observed moderate smoke and requested police assistance to deploy a drone for an aerial survey of the area. The drone inspection identified several remaining hotspots, though no significant threats were detected. Crews are expected to return later in the morning to continue extinguishment efforts and begin cleanup operations.
