Canton, CT — The Canton Fire and EMS Department responded to a reported structure fire at the 121 Dowd Apartment Complex following multiple 911 calls reporting a working fire.
Upon arrival alongside the Canton Police Department, crews located a kitchen fire confined to a single apartment unit. Firefighters acted swiftly to bring the fire under control, preventing further extension beyond the kitchen area.
One occupant was evaluated on scene by EMS personnel for non-life-threatening burns.
The incident remains under investigation by the Town of Canton Fire Marshal’s Office.
