Closter, NJ - The Closter Volunteer Fire Department responded mutual aid to the Borough of Norwood, operating on a second alarm assignment at the scene of a working house fire.

Closter’s Ladder Company was dispatched to assist as additional resources were requested, providing critical truck company support alongside mutual aid partners.

Upon arrival, crews integrated into ongoing fireground operations, assisting with ladder company functions including access, ventilation, and support of interior suppression efforts.

The response highlights the continued cooperation and coordination between neighboring departments, ensuring sufficient manpower and specialized apparatus are available during escalating incidents.
