Colchester, VT - Colchester Fire Department, along with mutual aid partners, responded to a single-vehicle crash involving a utility pole on Colchester Point Road.
Crews found the vehicle on its side with the occupant already out and confirmed there was no fire. The impact caused the pole to snap at the base, resulting in downed lines and damage to nearby residences.
Green Mountain Power secured electrical hazards while responders mitigated the scene. The roadway was closed for an extended period during utility repairs and cleanup.
