2nd Alarm Barn Fire in Richmond

By KEVIN MOSIO, Correspondent | May 15, 2020 | NEW HAMPSHIRE

Story No. 051620100

Around 0725 of Friday morning Richmond fire was toned for a reported barn fire at the 39 Mill Rd. Mutual aid was requested immediately for tankers as the standard practice for this area. Quickly units on scene reported a fully involved barn type structure and bumped the call up to a 2nd alarm.

I was already out and about but still had a 35 min drive. First in companies made quick work in knocking the fire down and preventing the extension to a much larger and older barn 10-15 ft away. There wasn't much left to see by the time I got there.
