A statement from the FHP a vehicle pursuit from Crystal River to Spring Hill. The person nearly struck a Deputy Sheriff and several individuals as he jumped a median and sped off at a high rate of speed. Multiple attempts to stop the vehicle were not successful as the speeds were over 85 mph. The suspect ultimately crashed on US 19 and Pepper St in Spring Hill. The suspect was taken into custody and the injured were treated by Hernando County EMS.
