MILFORD, CT — On April 11th — shed fire behind a house on Snow Apple Lane prompted the Milford Fire Department to react. When firefighters arrived, they discovered that the homeowner was controlling the fire with a garden hose until help arrived. Crews extended a 3-inch hose line to support suppression operations because of the lengthy driveway that led to the back of the property.

Firefighters swiftly confined the fire, put out any hot spots that remained, and looked for any extensions in the surrounding areas. There were no reported injuries. According to fire officials, the shed area was the only place affected by the fire, and nearby structures were safe. The cause of the fire is still being looked into.
