Crews Stop Bradley Street Blaze in 20 Minutes

The Lewiston Fire Department responded to a reported structure fire on Bradley Street at 10:04 a.m. on May 10.


Within a minute of being dispatched, crews arrived and saw that a two-story apartment building's second floor was heavily burning. According to officials, firefighters used synchronized suppression efforts to put out the fire in less than 20 minutes.


There were no reported injuries. The investigation is being aided by the Maine State Fire Marshal's Office.


The agency also expressed gratitude to United Ambulance Service, the Lisbon Fire agency, the Auburn Fire Department, and Lewiston Auburn 911 Communications Center for their city coverage operations and on-site assistance.
