Halifax, Ma - At Approximately 10:59 AM Regional Old Colony Communications Center received multiple calls for a kayak that overturned in the area of 56 Holmes St. with 4-6 people in the water. Multiple people were quickly rescued, but 1 person was reported to have gone under the water and never resurfaced. Halifax Fire launched a boat and the Plymouth County Dive Team was activated. Mutual Aid was called in to assist from multiple towns. The patient was located and transported to BI Plymouth where he was pronounced dead.
