Brookhaven FD Operates At A Motor Vehicle Accident

Shirley N.Y. - At approximately 3:14 pm on Tuesday May 11th 2021 the Brookhaven fire department and the Shirley community ambulance company was toned out for a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Laurel Lane & Holly Lane. 2nd assistant chief Giuseppe Loiacono (5-3-32)was the first unit to arrive and found that there was a 2 car motor vehicle accident with one car into a fence. The first rescue truck on the road was rescue 3 (5-3-3) and was advised by command to arrive on scene and secure one car and bring brooms to clean up the road way of any debri. Assistant chief Loiacono radio to fire-com advising that all units are taking up and were on a 5. There were no reported injuries and all units were back in service under 30 minutes.
