BOTSFORD, CT - Botsford Fire Rescue responded to a reported chimney fire in its first-due area on April 8th at 8:55 p.m. Additionally, the Sandy Hook Volunteer Fire and Rescue and Newtown Hook and Ladder Company No. 1 offered mutual aid. According to officials, the fire stayed inside the chimney and did not spread inside the house.
