Car Fire Quickly Knocked Down in Norwich

NORWICH, CT - At 2:33 p.m. on Friday, 5/8/26 the East Great Plain Fire Department with Norwich's Engine 3 and Battalion 1 were dispatched to 20 Waldo Road for a car fire. Q135 (fire marshal) arrived at 2:35 p.m. reporting an active car fire. Engine 3 stretched a 1.75" hose line and knocked the fire with tank water. The Norwich Fire Marshal's Office is investigating.
