The Frankford Township Fire Department responded to a residential structure fire in Sandyston Township on a mutual aid assignment at around 3:22 a.m. on April 25.

Chief 25-2 was the first to arrive, took command, sent out a second alarm, and verified that the structure fire was fully involved. The first-due engine, engine 38-2, arrived and started the suppression process. Along with Engine 38-2 and Tanker 38, crews from Engine 25 helped with the fire attack. Water supply activities were managed by tankers 25-1 and 25-2.

Before going back to work, crews worked for almost seven hours. Engine 25 was sent to give station coverage in Sussex once the incident was cleared. Later in the day, department personnel also responded to a fire alarm and provided medical assistance.
