Botsford, CT - Botsford Fire Rescue was requested to provide mutual aid to the Town of Monroe for a working fire involving a detached garage and barn.
Due to the incident’s close proximity to the town line in Stepney Fire’s first-due area, a coordinated tanker response was initiated.
Botsford responded with a tanker and requested additional support from Dodgingtown Fire Company, which also deployed a tanker to the scene.
Tankers 559 and 229 from Newtown were assigned to cover the response, ensuring an adequate water supply for ongoing fire suppression operations.
