Mutual Aid Supports Ejection Incident

Bergen, NY — April 6th — At Pocock Road and Townline Road, the Bergen Fire Department responded to a single-vehicle collision with ejection. According to early reports, there was a baby inside the car. Before personnel could arrive, the child was taken away by a nearby bystander. The child was assessed and found to be in good health.


Responders attested to the driver's severe injuries and ejection. After receiving on-site care, the patient was transported by plane to Strong Memorial Hospital. The Churchville Volunteer Fire Department served the district, and the LeRoy Fire Department provided mutual help. Before going back to work, crews worked on the site.
