On May 3rd, Paramedic Paul Cary, from Colorado, came to NYC to volunteer and died as a result of COVID-19. Paramedic Carey,volunteered to serve as part of Ambulnz's (correct spelling) State of New York COVID-19 Response Team. Paramedic Cary's body was escorted by FDNY and NYPD units from a funeral home in Staten Island, NY, and transported to Newark Liberty Airport and flown back to his home state.
