Mutual Aid Crews Contain Spreading Brush Fire in Westport
Little Compton, RI - Firefighters from the Little Compton Fire Department responded on a mutual aid assignment to a brush fire along Drift Road in Westport, Massachusetts, deploying Forestry 1 and Car 1 to assist local crews.
Upon arrival, units encountered an actively spreading ground fire moving through dense brush. Firefighters worked in coordination with the Westport Fire Department and the Westport Police Department Drone Team to contain the fire’s forward progress.
