Shrewsbury Crews Responded to Two-Car Crash

SHREWSBURY, MA — April 1st — At the intersection of Main Street and North Quinsigamond Avenue, firefighters from the Shrewsbury, Massachusetts Fire Department, located at 11 Church Road, responded to a two-car collision. When the units arrived, they saw two cars on the road with moderate damage. Firefighters helped EMS assess patients, mitigated dangers, and secured the area. To ensure a safe working environment while activities were in progress, traffic control measures were implemented.


In order to maintain safety and reestablish traffic flow, fire, emergency medical services, and law enforcement must work together during crashes at major crossroads. Roadway incident operations are supported by National Fire Protection Association guidelines. Following the removal of vehicles and the mitigation of risks, crews cleansed the area.
