LIMINGTON, ME — April 7th — A single-vehicle rollover on Sokokis Avenue close to the town hall was reported, and responders from Limington Fire & EMS, 425 Sokokis Ave., responded. When units arrived, they discovered that one car had overturned, but the driver was already outside and unharmed. Firefighters steadied the car, guarded the area, and looked for potential dangers. Fluids were managed with absorbent materials, and traffic was controlled to keep the work area safe. There was no need for transportation.
The car was quickly removed by Scott Chapman of Dick's Towing, enabling workers to effectively clear the road. Soon later, the road was reopened. Coordinated actions are needed to guarantee scene safety and prompt road reopening in single-vehicle rollovers, which frequently include speed, distraction, or road conditions.
