Mutual Aid Response Supports MVC Coverage in Wells District

Rutland, VT - West Pawlet Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched on automatic mutual aid to assist Wells Volunteer Fire Department with a motor vehicle crash on Route 133 in Tinmouth.

While Wells and Middletown Springs crews operated on scene, WPVFD Engine 582 was reassigned to standby at the Wells Fire Station to ensure continued coverage for the district.

All units were later released and returned to service, highlighting the importance of coordinated mutual aid and maintaining emergency readiness across neighboring communities.
