RICHMOND,VA-Firefighters on Richmond Engines 21 and 8, recently attended a special week of training.
The dedicated crews trained at Dominion Energy Center in Chesterfield County.
Engine 21 and Engine 8 are on the Central Virginia Flammable Liquids Task Force Team.
The firefighters participated in a course consisting of a three hour classroom session followed by five hours of live fire training on several different props.
The training gave new firefighters on the team hose line and foam skills, when attacking flammable liquid types of fires. It was also a good refresher for firefighters that have been on the team.
