Crews Respond to Highway Crash Involving PennDOT Vehicle, Ensure Scene Safety

Beaver, PA - Brighton Township Volunteer Fire Department responded to a motor vehicle collision on Interstate 376 Eastbound involving a passenger vehicle that struck the rear of a PennDOT traffic control unit.


Operating alongside Chippewa Township Volunteer Fire Department and Medic Rescue Ambulance Service, crews quickly secured the scene and established traffic control, including lane closures to protect responders and passing motorists.


Firefighters and EMS personnel assessed the situation and provided patient care while maintaining a safe work zone.


Crews remained on scene until vehicles were cleared and roadway conditions were deemed safe, allowing all lanes to reopen and normal traffic flow to resume.
