PLAINFIELD TOWNSHIP, PA - A significant fire broke out at a residential property in Plainfield Township late Sunday afternoon, April 27th, prompting a rapid response from multiple fire companies in the area.
Fire crews were dispatched shortly before 8 p.m. to the blaze that erupted in a single-family home on the 1300 block of Colony Lane. Upon arrival, firefighters encountered flames throughout the two-and-a-half-story structure.
In total, more than eight fire companies converged on the scene to assist the Plainfield Township Volunteer Fire Company in tackling the inferno. Firefighters worked diligently to bring the situation under control, utilizing deck guns and aerial equipment to combat the blaze from multiple angles.
Fortunately, there were no reported injuries. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
