NEWFIELDS, NH - In response to a head-on collision involving injuries on Route 108 close to Great Bay Mobil on April 23rd, Newmarket Fire & Rescue responded with Newfields Police and Fire, as well as Newmarket Police. After witnessing the collision, a Newmarket ambulance called dispatch and started tending to the injured. According to preliminary investigations, a southbound Lexus IS collided with a northbound Toyota Tundra after crossing the centerline.

Both cars were severely damaged. The drivers, a 68-year-old male and a 19-year-old male, were taken to Portsmouth Regional Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Crews oversaw traffic, hazard control, and patient care. The incident is under investigation.
