Allegany, NY - Allegany Fire Department units responded to a reported structure fire in the City of Salamanca, deploying Engine 31 with a crew assigned to Rapid Intervention Team (FAST) duties.
Operating in a standby but critical role, the FAST team was positioned and ready to immediately assist any firefighters in distress, ensuring an added layer of safety during active fireground operations. Crews maintained constant readiness while suppression efforts were carried out by interior teams.
