On Saturday April 18th 2026 the Lynbrook Fire Department hosted a Recruit NY open house. The open house took place at Earle Avenue Parking Field 8. The department had their fleet on display. The department conducted four live demonstrations which were rope rescue, auto extrication, kitchen fire safety, and an auto fire.
