Colrain, MA - The Colrain Firefighters’ Association responded on an automatic aid assignment to Brattleboro Road in Leyden for a permitted burn that had spread beyond control.

Crews worked quickly to contain the fire, holding it to approximately 1.2 acres, while additional units supported suppression efforts with water supply operations.

Through a coordinated response, the fire was brought under control, preventing further spread to surrounding areas.
