Car vs tree mvc proves fatal

On March 30,2026 Chatham County Police and fire were dispatched to the area of 1000 Fords Pointe Circle for a reported car into a tree. Upon arrival of Chatham County Police, it was confirmed that a Ford Explorer left the roadway and went head on into a tree. Upon further assessment, responders discovered a single occupant the driver deceased in the vehicle.
The patient was pronounced dead by the Chatham County coroner. As of this writing, the cause of the accident has not been released.
