BEAVER FALLS, PA — March 28th — The New Brighton Volunteer Fire Department and the City of Beaver Falls Fire Department responded to several reports of a working house fire in New Brighton's Oak Hill neighborhood. Heavy fire in the back of a two-story house with exposure to a nearby structure was reported by the first responding cops. Tower 11 and other resources were brought in when a second alert was ordered.

While Tower 11 crews worked to safeguard the exposed building, Engine 11 created a water supply and helped with the fire attack. A roof collapse forced the evacuation of interior crews after they discovered hoarding circumstances. For several hours, operations went on. After being hit by debris, one firefighter was taken and subsequently released. Other units were still in operation to deal with other incidents.
