Canaan, NY - Canaan Protective Fire Company responded on mutual aid with East Chatham Fire Co. and Chatham Rescue Squad to a reported single-vehicle accident on a westbound Thruway ramp.

Arriving crews established a traffic safety zone and coordinated with EMS and New York State Police to stabilize the scene. One individual was evaluated by medical personnel but did not require transport.

Units operated efficiently to secure the area and ensure safe conditions before clearing the incident.
