BUTLER, NJ - The Butler Fire Department responded to a Main Street structure fire shortly after midnight on April 2nd, which resulted in significant damage and altered a portion of the downtown area. In order to contain the fire and safeguard surrounding structures, crews worked for several hours alongside mutual aid companies. Residents and nearby companies helped responders during the event by giving them access to facilities for rest and cleanup, as well as food and beverages. Units gathered at the firehouse and resumed operations when the fire was contained.
