On April 10, 2026, shortly after 11:20 a.m., the Blandon Fire Department responded to a reported garage fire on Mount Laurel Road. Chief When 12 arrived, they discovered a 30 by 50 shop with fire visible from the Bravo side. Soon after, Engine 45, Engine 12, and Ladder 12 arrived and started working. While Ladder 12 forced entry and finished a primary search, crews stretched two handlines—one for interior fire attack and one for exposure protection.

The fire was quickly contained thanks to well-coordinated efforts. There were no reported injuries.

The cause was investigated by the Pennsylvania State Police Fire Marshal. On-site assistance was provided by mutual help organizations.
