QUEENS, NY - Tragedy struck a quiet Queens neighborhood early on Easter morning when a fire erupted in a private home. Preliminary reports indicate that three occupants were fatally injured, along with reports of five others suffering various injuries and being treated at a local hospital. The blaze occurred shortly before 2:00 AM at 87-25 Chevy Chase Street, Jamaica Estates, Queens. The FDNY is investigating the cause of the fire.
