On April 19, crews from Volusia County Fire Rescue (VCFR) responded to the Lemon Bluff Boat Ramp, which launches into the St. Johns River and is located in Osteen. The call was for a pediatric patient injured jumping from the top of a boat located just over one mile from the boat ramp. Volusia County Sheriff's Office Air One, VCEMS 211 and VCEMS 253 responded to the incident as did the following VCFR units: Marine 30, TRT 10, SQE 35, TE 36 and BAT 30. The patient was transported to a trauma center via Air One.
